Did you know Tripsitting is one of the fastest growing professions of the
Psychedelic Renaissance?

With the growing popularity of psychedelic sessions, the demand for safe, healing spaces is increasing. And why trained tripsitters are essential.

Expert tripsitters play a key role in harm reduction. And they also help people immerse themselves deeper into the magical, life-changing potential of psychedelics.

If you want to begin a meaningful new path in the sacred medicine space, this workshop will help you take the first step.

Introducing: How to Become a Professional Tripsitter.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of becoming a tripsitter that is safe, qualified, and effective – essential for anyone who envisions sitting for friends and family or being paid for tripsitting services.

We will begin with a 2-hour introduction to tripsitting as an up-and-coming professional service in the Psychedelic Renaissance.

& in part 2

We’ll open sacred space for Skye Weaver’s signature Cannabis Meditation.

Why cannabis?

With the right strain and dosage (and when used within a safe container), Cannabis opens us up to healing experiences akin to mushrooms, LSD, MDMA, Ayahuasca, and even 5-MeO-DMT.

This is why psychedelic training with cannabis is all the rage in locales where weed is legal, but psychedelics are not.

Here's what to expect:

  • Day 1 - How to Become a Professional Tripsitter

Develop the skills to provide support during psychedelic sessions.

    You’ll learn:

    • What's the difference between a trip sitter and facilitator

    • How to set up a space, journey intentions, and session boundaries

    • How to create agreements for an integral container

    • How to support someone through a challenging experience

    • How to close out the journey

    • Next steps if you decide to pursue this path professionally
  • Day 2 - Psychedelic Cannabis Meditation

We will guide you through a live cannabis meditation, opening you up to deep transformation and healing in a safe and sacred container.

     The meditation combines:

    • Mindfulness practices

    • Conscious cannabis imbibing

    • And evocative music

Our circle will conclude with some integration time where you can journal and share about your experience.

Don’t miss out on 2 delightful days.

What's a Guided Cannabis Meditation?

On day two we'll open Sacred Space in preparation for the guided Cannabis meditation.

When used with intention and within a safe container, Cannabis gives us healing experiences akin to mushrooms, LSD, MDMA, Ayahuasca and even 5-MeO-DMT.

"Cannabis is the "medicine of consent".  She allows you to be an active participant in your journey. She gives you choice and agency in the psychedelic space, allowing you to feel safe in your own experience – making her brilliant for people with trauma." Skye Weaver

Working with cannabis helps you build your navigation and resiliency skills. And is a wonderful way to sharpen up your toolkit for experiencing "bigger medicines".

With cannabis, you are no longer a leaf on the river. Instead, you navigate the river in a kayak with an ore, helmet, and life vest. You build your skills, muscles, and ability to ride the rapids of life.

*Please note that this workshop is for people living in states where Cannabis is a legal substance.
If you have have any significant trauma that hasn't been addressed with professional support we ask that you not participate at this time.

PARTICIPANT FEEDBACK ON SKYE WEAVER'S WORKSHOPS

❝ I now have a great appreciation for cannabis.  It has a power that I have never experienced before and took me to new depths which were very surprising.  It reminded me of the work I have done with other “stronger” plant medicines.  The breath work and basic meditative practices in addition to the use of cannabis helped to clear some emotional and psychic blocks that I had been carrying.  Skye was there to help me process and integrate after the experience and I felt that was an essential part in the ceremonial experience. ❞ - Josh L.

❝ I had an absolutely beautiful and profound experience at CannAbyss, and was left with several major insights to integrate and apply back to my daily life. Thanks to the sacred and safe space Skye creates and holds, I was able to enter into a visual state I've never allowed myself to experience with cannabis. I saw my thought patterns as sacred geometry leaving my mind and creating my world. I saw the energy block that's been creating dis-ease in my body as light and had a profound emotional release regarding that. I was able to reparent myself and give my inner child the unconditional love and healing reassurance she has been needing ❞ - Kate S.

❝ I had a deep experience myself, as I continued uncovering some very deep memories that have been arising in these ceremonies over the last few months. It felt amazing to be in a safe, supported environment where I felt I could go deeper than I sometimes do on my own. It was particularly incredible for me to see how this medicine can have such an amazing impact on other people. I am so excited to offer this to others one day.❞ - Lara W.

GOT QUESTIONS?

HERE ARE YOUR ANSWERS!

Cannabis is a psychedelic?

Yes! When we use cannabis with intention and within a safe container, she becomes a shapeshifter. She opens us up to healing experiences similar to mushrooms, LSD, MDMA, Ayahuasca and even 5-MeO-DMT.

Do I need to supply my own cannabis?

Yes! By attending this Ceremony you verify you are 21+ and will BYOM (Bring your own Medicine)

Will I be able to professionally trip sit after this?

This workshop will initiate you into trip-sitting and show you a longer path forward. The first step is usually sitting for a friend or loved one. During the workshop we will review resources and recommendations for further training. Note that many professional trip-sitters practiced under the guidance of a mentor as part of their training.

Why is this workshop positioned as a “professional training”?

The Plant Spirit School, which is a program of EntheoNation, offers harm reduction and vocational training for those who wish to grow thriving careers in the Psychedelic Renaissance.

Our people are interested in the education oriented towards those wishing to be of greater leadership and service, who wish to be paid for their labor. For this reason, we provide a range of workshops and longer programs highlighting what it takes to be a psychedelic facilitator, tripsitter, or integration provider that’s safe, qualified, and good.

Do you need lineage training to be a qualified tripsitter?

No. But you DO need harm-reduction training.

If you intend to be a “Guide” (which is a lot more hands-on than being a Tripsitter) who works with ancestral, lineage-based medicines, lineage training would certainly be honoring of the plant medicine wisdom tradition.

However, you do not need Mazatec lineage training if you are trip sitting magic mushrooms, especially if those mushrooms came from a grow kit or a local cow pasture, and were not gathered and prepared by indigenous elders in Mexico. Nor would you need lineage training if you were tripsitting someone on LSD, or MDMA.

Why are you hosting a workshop about “tripsitting” when psychedelics are still illegal?

Tripsitting is a fast-growing vocation that is emerging from the underground. Interest in psychedelics have surged since the release of the Fantastic Fungi documentary and Michael Pollan’s docuseries How to Change Your Mind in Netflix. More and more people are seeking psychedelic experiences, even though they are still illegal in most locales.

In the Netherlands, professional tripsitting websites and services are mushrooming. The number of online directories listing guides and tripsitters who expect to be paid for their services is also increasing.

In 2023, psilocybin will be legal for adult use in Oregon. Denver has a ballot for psilocybin legalization on the near horizon. There is a pressing need for more educated and trained psychedelic facilitators, integration specialists, and tripsitters than ever before.

HOW LONG CAN I ACCESS THE CONTENT?

Content is available in the members area for one year; however, you can download the files directly to your devices and keep the digital files forever.

Where can you be a legal, professional tripsitter?

Right now, this all depends on where the psychedelic in question is NOT illegal AND if the sitter intends to provide the medicine, or if the client is responsible for procuring their own medicine

At present, it is possible to legally set up shop as a psilocybin truffle tripsitter in the Netherlands, or magic mushroom sitter in Jamaica, as well as provide the medicines.

In locales where psychedelics are decriminalized, monetary transactions regarding the medicines would not be legal, but being paid to be in the presence of a client that has procured their own medicine, consumed it on their own initiative might not have any criminal penalites anymore. It’s important that professional sitters familiarize themselves with their local laws.

HOW WILL I ACCESS MY CONTENT?

The Workshop recordings and presentation content are hosted in the Members Area, where you can download them instantly to your computer, laptop, or smartphone. Please note that, in order to access this content, you will need to create an account on Teachable.com

What about the legalities?

This workshop is only for people living in states where Cannabis is a legal substance.

WHAT IF I'M NOT SATISFIED WITH THE WORKSHOP?

We would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact us in the first 30 days and we will give you a full refund.

What if I can’t make the workshop live?

Don’t worry! We’ll send you the recording which is also included with your purchase.

Cannabis isn't my medicine… What if I get too paranoid?

The antidote is in the medicine! CBD can help you "sober up" and come back to your base line faster. In fact, unlike other psychedelics, cannabis has a relatively short duration, clocking in at 4 hours from imbibing till sober.

You can also go as deep (or not) as you'd like. Try starting light with 1 puff then feeling where you're at before taking another hit. You can always smoke more.

Is it possible to become a professional tripsitter after a 2-hour workshop?

No. Just like most 2-hour trainings won’t qualify you as a professional in most vocations, a 2-hour Zoom training will not turn a beginner into a tripsitting pro. It will present the fundamentals of becoming a tripsitter that is safe, qualified and effective, which is essential for anyone who envisions one day being paid for tripsitting services.
